HAND EMBROIDERY AND BEADING GALLERY
SILK SHIBORI RIBBON BEACH SCENE
This framed embellishment was made by sewing two pieces of Silk Shibori Ribbon onto beading foundation to represent the ocean, before adding different colours and sizes of beads for the sand and waves. The whole piece was then beaded onto a linen background.
SILK SHIBORI RIBBON BROOCHES
These were the first four brooches that I ever made. I used Silk Shibori Ribbon and added small beads, pearls and embellishments. I was really happy with the way that they turned out.
EASY SILK SHIBORI RIBBON BROOCHES
I thought that I would create easy to make Silk Shibori Ribbon brooches, using larger seed beads (size 8) or 3mm beads and crystals and less embellishments. This method was a lot quicker than the more delicate beaded brooches and turned out to be a good starting point for anyone wanting to learn to use Silk Shibori Ribbon.
